Your description makes me think of Demoni 2 (Dir: Lamberto Bava. Screenplay by Bava and Dario Argento.)

It definitely has the scene with the girl locked in her room at a party getting attacked by a Demon that climbs out of the TV she is watching.

There is acidic blood dripping throughout the building and I think there are people attcked in a car by the infected.

This is another film that I do own but haven't watched in a long time.
