Girl's Father Killed Because His Research Would Open Black Hole

I saw a movie where a girl is protected by a woman after her father is killed because his research would open a black hole and the bad guys wanted it for evil purposes.

Eventually one of the bad guys grabs the girl and the head of the bad guys injects something into the girl's neck to make her open the black hole her father wouldn't. In the end, the girl gets rescued and all is well.
