I just saw an uncut version of Fulci's City of the Living Dead. The movie itself was pretty bad (or good for all the wrong reasons), but there were a couple of gore scenes that were more than worth the price of admission. Notably one where a woman vomits up her intestines (which I used to try to get people to come with me - and they did not see as a selling point). It looked so good, I looked online to find out how they did it, and apparently the actress actually swallowed warm sheep entrails and regurgitated them onscreen. It was awesome. Good luck tracking it down. A little theatre here does a gory monster midnight screening about once a month, and the version we saw was original 35mm with German subtitles (apparently one of the only countries that didn't censor it). Maybe Dead Alive, perhaps? Granted, I have never seen the whole movie myself, but I hear it's pretty gory.

Well now I have seen some gore and guts. I would think that all the Saws would do, but Special Dead is pretty nasty. 2001 Maniacs was pretty tasty so to speak. I love the 8 Films to Die for collections.
