Green Blinking Eye VHS Cover Art

I'm looking for a movie I saw around 1988 or 1989. I was a little boy when I saw it - the only thing I remember is that on the VHS box when you pressed on the box the man/zombie/thing's eye would blink green.

Any help?

'Metamorphosis'

I think the movie is called Metamorphosis (2007). It has a needle that goes into the guy's eyeball, turning him into a dinosaur like creature later. His eye had a little blinking light on the VHS box at the movie store about that time.

I didn't see when your comment was posted, but I got the movie name! I was looking for the movie too, when I ran on you comment. You're in luck, dude. The name is The Birdmen aka Escape of the Birdmen (1971).

This is the explanation of the creature: 'Birdmen: The people turned into wild madmen with glowing green eyes, the birdmen who eat by wrapping wind around people, and only bones are left'.
