Head in a Box Keeps Reappearing

I'm looking for the title of a film that I think this was a black and white movie or possibly an episode of a series.

A man's head is in a box. Someone tries to repeatedly get rid of it (burying it, etc.) but it always shows up again. One scene I remember is a woman finding the head in the box on a shelf and screaming. When the other person comes, the head is not there.

I thought it might have starred Vincent Price, but I looked at his films and nothing looked like this.
