What is the movie where a man needs a ride into town, and gets picked up by a man in a car with a bandaged or burned man in the back seat who is trying to communicate with them but you cant understand what he is saying?

In the end, it's the same scene except we are seeing things from the eyes of the man in the back of the car with bandages, and he is the same guy who gets in the car in the beginning.
