Horror Is An Art - My List Of Movies And What I Love About Them (Part I)
by Jason
(San Antonio, Texas, USA)
In alphabetical order:
28 Days Later: Original, the fast moving 'infected'. If you think this is a zombie movie though, you're plain retarded.
30 Days of Night: Good but apparently, being bitten by a vampire disables that person from actually acting.
5 Films by Daria Argento: Great collection of movies. Italian Horror is my favorite.
2001 Maniacs: You can't go wrong with Robert Englund.
American Psycho: Brilliant. The Genesis and Whitney Houston monologue is great. Goes to show you coat hangers can be hilarious.
Anthropophagus: Typical blood and guts, loved it. Slow paced at first, but picks up.
Audition: Japanese women are dangerous.
An American Werewolf in London: Are you kidding, 'nuff said.
Autopsy: Great movie. Slow watch.
Bad Taste: Peter Jackson, please come back.
Behind the Mask: Funny at times, horrible ending.
The Being: Classic.
Beyond Re-Animator: Gordon Lewis. HP would smirk, not frown, just smirk.
The Bird With The Crystal Plumage: Italian. Once again, have to love it.
Bruiser: Romero, you're the reason I own it.
Bubba Ho-tep: Who doesn't love this movie?
Boy Eats Girl: Modern zombie movie, classic modern day love story...eating girl.
Bloody Moon: The circular saw through the manequin's head - wow - short on editing crew?
Bloody Wednesday: Yep...I own it.
Blood Feast II: Gordon Lewis...bikinis...funny.
Burial Ground: Great movie, in my top 10 for sure. Odd 13 year old son played by creepy 30 year old biting mommy. Great scene.
Bride of Chucky: Have them all, just because.
Cabin Fever: Roth. Great movie, don't care what anyone says.
Candyman: I turned out the lights in the bathroom, nothing happens.
Cannibal Holocaust: In my top 10. Intestines, eating people, gorgeous movie.
Cat in the Brain: Top 10. Fulci = brilliant. The fact that Fulci is actually a brilliant man playing a crazy man, ironic.
Cat O'nine Tails: Fulci again, have to own it.
Cemetary Man: Wow...she's hot. I don't care if she's dead or not.
C.H.U.D.: Classic.
City of the Living Dead: Fulci again, crazy not to own this movie.
Cloverfield: Own it, won't watch another Godzilla movie. Sorry.
Creepshow: Great classic, Romero 'A'
Child's Play (1, 2 & 3). Have them all.
The Cottage: Great movie.
Cannibal Ferox: More flesh eating, great movie.
Dagon: Super good movie, crazy girl with with tentacles.
Damien: Omen II: Antichrist, part deuce.
Dario Argento: An Eye For Horror: A little peek into his world.
Dawn of the Dead (original): Romero at his finest.
Dawn of the Living Dead: Great find for me, collection plus.
Dawn of the Mummy: Again, hard to find, good movie.
Day of the Dead: Romero again. Zombies galore.
Dead Alive: Top 10. Goriest movie ever!
Dead Birds: Good watch.
Dead and Buried: Limited Edition - good find. Good movie.
Deep Red: Argento, good movie.
Demons: Great!
Demons 2: Great too!
The Descent: Loved it.
The Devil's Rejects: Rob is creative, what can you say.
Diary of the Dead: Wish it was more like his other zombie movies, you may have heard of them.
Dog Soldiers: I own two copies, one of the best werewolf movies around.
Don't Torture a Duckling: Fulci. Weird, but good.
Doctor Butcher: Awesome movie.
