Horror Movies List Used During Admission Exams
by Mykos Ntian
(Portugal)
My list of my favorite movies to unwind the stress of entire days studying:
Freaks (1933). "Gobble gobble, gobble gobble, one of us! One of US!"
Dont Look Now (1973). Mystery. Almost zero violence. Tension rising from the very beginning. Horror movie win.
Jacob's Ladder (1990). A unique horror movie. Did I mention sex between human and demon?
Uzumaki (2000). A whole town falls to an uzumaki (spiral) curse. I loved this one. A perfect movie, in my humble opinion.
Ginger Snaps (2000). Very well done, and an interesting subject for a creature movie - in the first movie anyway.
The Human Centipede (2009). What can I say? An interesting concept. And very good acting. Dieter Laser showing how its done.
Cold Fish (2011). Japanese do it differently. The movie starts slow, and presents an array of "ordinary" situations that will shock you. Oh yes.
May (2002). Disturbing. Angela Bettis in a very disturbing performance.
Cradle of Fear (2001). The concept is very interesting, in my opinion. It kept me trough the movie. Oh, and Emma Booth its on it. Yup!
