Horror Movies to Get a Rush!

For 15 years I used drugs, but now that I'm in recovery I've found a new thrill...Horror movies!
Horror gives that adrenaline rush I crave without the peril of overdosing, going to jail, getting shot or... well, you get the picture. Anyway the following list represents those films that, when I need a fix, I can watch while sitting alone in the dark late at night and freak myself out.
1. The Exorcist; (Spidercrawl scene)
2. John Carpeters "The Thing"; (Dogs in the kennel & autopsy scene with the decapitated crawling head)
3. Texas Chainsaw(s) Remake & The Beginning; Why? (Young-man-with-one-leg stuck on a hook over the piano & another young man being butchered by Leatherface, like when he tears the muscles off his forearm?)
4. House of 1000 Corpses; (Bunny-suit massacre, the Dr., and his monster on the rampage.)
5. The Shining; (Damn good story, music, and cinematography)
6. Evil Dead 2; (Do I really need to justify this one?)
7. Night of the Living Dead & Dawn of the Dead Remakes; (Bloody cannibalistic gore and splatter)
8. Alien & Aliens; (Nail biting suspense; wandering along with the characters through the water, fog & flashing lights only to come face to face with the gruesome visage of those dripping fangs)
9. The Descent; (A recent addition to my list of genuinely "classic" horror films.)
10. Poltergeist; (So many good scares behind a truly original script, the lightning tree, face-off-in-the-sink and maggot-steak, beast guarding the kids door, fleshy maw and tentacles of the beast in the closet, etc...it's too bad the sequels were so poor.)
