Horror Since Early Childhood
by Cory
(Illinois, USA)
I was the type that didn't get put to bed with fairy tales or wake up to morning cartoons. Since I can remember, my parents would read me scary stories and I grew up watching Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees instead of Barney.
I always had to go to the video store with my parents because I was too young to rent horror movies on my own.
To this day I still love horror. I'll rent classcs every now and then to make sure my roots stay strong.
As I type this I'm watching Halloween II and later I'll watch The Birds.
I wish I could afford Netflix but I usually only have a couple of bucks left over in my pocket (which only gets you a movie or two these days). There are many times I've braved bad weather or other things in order to fulfill my horror fix. I think I'll be obsessed with horror until the end!
