House is Alive, Watches People From Walls & Steals Souls

Does anyone remember a movie about a house that's alive and breathing?
When people walk down the hall, a painting on the wall watches them. Eventually the house kills people and sucks their souls into the walls.
At one point, there's a huge claw that comes down on top of a little girl's bed and keeps her from getting up.
