House's Electrical System Gone Awry

I saw this early 90's movie on Showtimw about something in the electrical system trying to kill a family.

These are the scenes I remember:

1. A woman is taking a shower she gets locked in as the temperature of the water rises. She ends up breaking the glass door and has boils on her skin from the heat.

2. A man is in the basement and power tools are attacking him.

3. The family manages to destroy the power transformer, and that's the end of the movie.
