It's in the Blooood

I've had the fun of growing up with a whole family of horror fans. One of our favorite things to do in the summer was to go camping and tell ghost stories around the campfire. And on a winter's day we would gather around the living room, get comfy and watch those Hammer films!
My fondest scary memory was going to a drive-in (remember those?) to see Night of the Living Dead (1968) with my brother and his best friend. I was fourteen at the time and shortly before we got to the drive-in the guys decided that we should visit a graveyard to get ourselves psyched for the movie. Little did I know it was a prank and once we were out of the car and walking around looking at graves, they took off running back to the car and drove off, leaving me there alone, weak-kneed and terrified! They came right back though and drove around the graveyard laughing and yelling at me that the zombies were going to get me. Boy, did that give me a scare! Luckily this only lasted a few minutes and we all had a good laugh. The movie was great fun and it was a memorable evening.
I still love a good scary film, going on 'ghost walks', and sharing ghost stories with anyone who's up for a good scare.
This is a great website, thanks!
