I've Loved Horror Since I Can Remember

I was always into the strange and scary, always drawn to dinosaurs, and I would try to sneak out to watch those late night b/w movies with my grandparents, and did. Then came Planet of the Apes (1968) and the 'creature double feature' which I never missed.

The first movie I bought on VHS was The Thing (1982) and I was a late bloomer - like 17 or 18. I think the first horror movie I saw at the theaters was Race with the Devil (1975) and the Manitou (1978). Then there was Alien (1979).

As of today I have over 1,000 DVD's, most are horror or sci-fi, and I only got my first DVD player five years ago.
