Original
air date: November 18, 2005 Directed by: Dario Argento Written by: Steven Weber Short Story by: Bruce Jones
Starring:
Steven Weber as Frank Spivey Carrie Fleming as Jenifer
Synopsis: A police officer witnesses a
man trying to murder a young lady. He, of course, tries to do the right
thing and ends up shooting the attacking man and saving the young lady.
This young lady however is not “normal”. She,
Jenifer (Carrie Fleming) is disfigured and cannot speak but she has an
insatiable lust. The police officer, Frank Spivey (Steven Weber)
becomes obsessed with Jenifer and starts down the road of chaotic
destructive insanity.
Thoughts: Maybe it is me but Dario Argento can do
no wrong. I believe him to be one of the top horror directors of all
time and Jenifer just adds to my reasons why. It is
well executed and paced well for it only being an hour long. Also, I
have been a fan of Steven Weber since his version of John Torrance in The
Shining. Not one minute was wasted in watching this episode.
