Killed By a Nail From a Statue of Christ

This has been driving me crazy for years.

In the mid-late 80's I saw a trailer at the end of a film which I think was about demons in a church. During a service the pulse on the statue of Jesus starts beating and then one of the nails flies out and hits someone in the forehead. I think the congregation members were soldiers?

Then all hell broke loose. I think it was the same trailer which also had some wild boars running around ripping people apart...either that or I had a bad dream that night.
