I think I found it...
by: kelli

I think what I'm talking about is an episode of the The Twilight Zone called 'The After Hours'. I'd have to watch it again to be sure, but it sounds like it from the description I read. Keep in mind I was about 6 years old so it was scary at the time!

Maybe this will help
by: A friend

Omg, I am looking for the same movie. There was a girl in a mall, and she was running away for some reason, and all of a sudden she was limping because her leg was turning into plastic. And after a minute or so, she was a full on mannequin.

I might have found the movie - if it's Chopping Mall (1986). I haven't checked it out yet, but that's all I'm coming up with. I know it's not Tourist Trap or Pin. I have seen both.

I hope this helps you out.

'Tourist Trap' Overview
by: Anonymous

Tourist Trap is a 1979 horror film directed by David Schmoeller, revolving around a group of friends who wind up stranded at Mr. Slausen's 'museum' where the mannequins are very lifelike. Schmoeller co-wrote the script with J. Larry Carroll. Four teenagers searching for a missing friend stumble upon Slausen's Lost Oasis, an abandoned tourist trap featuring eerily lifelike mannequins. The owner is a genial yet slightly strange middle-aged man who explains that when the new highway was built, his museum no longer has any business. As the night goes on, one by one, the teenagers disappear into Slausen's nearby house, never to come out. What they do not know is that hidden inside the home is Mr. Slausen's younger brother Davey, insane yet gifted with telekinesis, superhuman strength, and a talent for building mannequins. Tourist Trap was made in 1978 and the film was released 1979.

Mannequin movie
by: Lucy

The movie you're talking about is not Tourist Trap. I'm almost certain the movie is called Pin (1988). It's totally creepy. Check it out!

Help!
by: Leah

I have also been searching for a horror movie about mannequins that I saw on TV when I was a kid. All I can remember about it is someone in a room full of mannequins, and all of a sudden the mannequins open their mouths at the same time and say something like, 'Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!'

It totally freaked out my sisters and me. We all have the same memory of that movie, and we call it the 'Baaaaaaaaaaa!' movie since none of us has ever been able to find it. I think that maybe once the people in the movie were killed, that they were turned into mannequins.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? I'm hoping that maybe it is Tourist Trap (1979) afterall...so that our search will be over! I think I might go ahead and buy it on eBay and hope for the best! But, if anyone knows what I'm talking about and knows of a different possibility, please post it! :D Thank you!

Me toooooo!
by: Anonymous

I too recollect watching a movie on USA when I was about 11 or 12 that had someone in a shed with mannequins coming out of closets and dresser drawers. I was terrified.

I've looked on several search engines for mannequin horror films when I came across this blog. It too has helped me to figure out that the movie is Tourist Trap. I can't wait to be scared again!

Your Answer
by: myspace.com/maokri

Tourist Trap is in fact the movie you are referring to. Follow this link: http://movies.ign.com/articles/768/768821p1.html

Scroll down the page until you come across that title. The movie was done in 1979 and was about a reclusive man who used telekinesis to make the mannequins kill people. The part I remember is a small shed and people being locked in it with the mannequins and another scene where a bunch of them are bobbing up and down.

I only found this post of yours because I was looking for the name of this movie myself. When I saw the title I knew I had the right one.

If you want to movie, you can download it using a torrent program. I am in that process right now.

Enjoy!
