There is a God

Thank you. I remember this film as well and it's been driving me nuts for at least ten years, trying to place it. I remember the last shot in it being of the lady who's been attacked by the doll/skeleton/thing smiling and her teeth are creepy.

Was it also some kind of doll or African statue given to her at a museum or by a friend? I remember it starting something like that.

'Little Black Skeleton'

The movies are called Trilogy of Terror with Karen Black starring in the one with the little voodoo doll that chases her around with a knife.

This is one of the very first horror movies I watched as a child, and the images of the terrifying doll have clung to my memory for the past forty years: knife under the door, doll's shadow in the lampshade. The one that stands out most is Karen Black's character throwing the voodoo doll into the fireplace and it bursting into flames and still coming after her. How did she finally kill that awful little monster doll?

Correct movie and a similar scene

Trilogy of Terror is the right movie. There was also a movie called "Alone in the Dark" in which a woman (Kim Darby??) is tormented in her home by a bunch of little dark colored monsters. They also atack her with a knife I think.

the movie may be called (trilogy of terror 1975)starring karen black tv movie there is also a trilogy of terror II 1996 takes place in a museum if i remember correctly. i hope this helped you out.
