Little Boy Eaten by Ghost in Japan

I'm trying to remember the title of a film I saw on DVD about a year ago about an American woman who moves to Japan with her husband and son.
They move there during 'ghost month' and the son can see the dead. In one scene, a ghost tells him they like to eat little boys and engulfs him in a shop.
The boy ends up getting possesed and his mother has to enter the spirit realm to rescue him.
Does anyone know what movie I'm talking about? Thank you.
