Little Haunted Asian Boy's Arm Turns Black

I'm looking for the name of a horror movie I saw once. In this movie a white and Asian boy is put in the hospital when he goes into what seems to be a coma. A little while into his stay his arm turns black.
His mom, an American, discovers that he's been possessed or something like that ( I can't remember exactly) and has to solve what is going on before it's to late and he dies.
Does anybody know this movie? I cannot for the life of me remember the name! I never got to finish it and it really seemed good so I want to watch it, but I can't without the title! Please help!
