Little Red Riding Hood is Dead

Saw a movie a long time ago where a girl dressed like Little Red Riding Hood is actually dead.

In the end, she is at the top of a building or cliff and her dad comes up behind her. As she turns around she is terrifying-looking.

Any ideas?

It's 'Don't Look Now' from 1973

I believe the movie you are refering to is Don't Look Now (1973). In this movie after his daughter drowns, the father (Donald Sutherland)heads to Italy and thinks he sees his daughter everywhere. She is always wearing a red hooded coat/cape. While in Italy at the same time there is a murderer on the loose. At the very end of the movie he finds his daughter, only it's not his daughter it is the deranged serial killer, who happens to be a dwarf wearing a red hooded coat/cape. The face is unforgettable. You can see the exact scenes to this under the IMDB, and if you do a web search for "100 Scariest Movie Moments." Often during Halloween they will discuss this movie on TV as well.

'Lady in White'?

To me it sounds more like the ending of Lady in White (1988). The girl´s ghost is dressed up as Little Red Riding Hood, since she died on Halloween.
