Made for TV Ghost Horror

I am looking for the name of a movie..

It was released I think around Halloween and on T.V.

The movie was about a teenage boy who picked up a hitchhiker girl who was a ghost (Though he didn't know this at the time). Ghosts or zombies chased them in the movie to get her back to the other side (though neither seemed to know why the ghosts were chasing them, they may have been zombies since at one point in the movie they shook their car.

Later in the movie the boy ended up in a cemetery where he learned that his new girlfriend had died when she was 16 or something like that.
