Magic rocks killed the beauty?

Greetings! Here's a tough one. When I was a kid in the 70's, I saw a movie (could have been a TV show), precious little of which I remember. There was this woman whose youth and beauty were preserved by these strange rocks. When they were crushed, she whithered and died in dramatic fashion. I think she was bad and the protagonist killed her in this way. Thats all I remember, though...I know It's not much. What do you think? PS- its not Star Trek.
