Man Marries Gargoyle in Horror Show

There's a TV show episode (Creepshow, Tales From The Darkside, Night Gallery) in which an artist is fascinated by gargoyles.

He meets and marries a woman and they have two children. All is fine until he asks her 'what she is'. She cries that he was never supposed to ask. Then she and the children turn into gargoyles and disappear.
