Man-Eating Monsters in Hole

Does anyone remember this 80's movie where a teenager finds a hole with five man-eating monsters inside that are human-size, gorillaesque in appearance, and have yellow eyes?

There's a bully that picks on the teenager that he lures into the woods and ends up feeding to the monsters, along with some other people.

The teenager also has a crush on his new babysiter and at some point she finds out about his crush and he is sad because she doesn't like him. So he runs off into the woods. The babysitter chases after him and ends up falling into the monster-filled hole. He tries to save her, but fails.

Now he's really mad at the monsters and covers the hole up with mud, but they end up crawling out and terrorizing the whole town. While this is going on, the ghost of the dead babysitter starts appearing to him and saying ominous things.

I believe the monsters POV shots are tinted yellow.

Anyone know what this is?
