This is a list of my personal favorite Horror Movie monsters and creatures. I have not considered movies with really cool monsters and creatures like Cloverfield, Godzilla , etc. because they are sci-fi movies in my opinion. I have also not considered great Horror Villains like Freddy or Chucky because they are ... well ... Horror Villains.

These are in no particular order. Here goes then:

1. Lake Placid - The big crocodile was really well made and looked 100% real.

2. The Blob (remake) - Still my favorite monster after all these years. Killer Jelly!

3. Tremors - The "graboids" are some of the most realistic looking Horror Monsters ever.

4. Species - "Sil" is one good looking monster and even more good looking in human form.

5. Deep Rising - The "sea worms" are really really cool.

6. Deep Blue Sea - These intelligent sharks are great and were too much of a match for tough guy Samuel L. Jackson.

7. Jaws - The ultimate Sea Monster!

8. Critters - Cute, cuddly and very deadly little hairballs.

9. Frankenfish - One of the best monster names ever

10. The Host - A really great and well done monster

11. Anaconda - The ultimate monster snake!

12. The Thing - With so many possible forms, this is one scary monster

13. Alien - The ultimate "not-of-this-earth" monster

14. Cujo - Man's best friend - yeah right!

15. Pitch Black - Very interesting alien creatures

16. The Birds - There are just so darn many of them!

17. The Relic -a very cool monster

18. Creepshow 2 - I just love the killer oilspill of the The Raft story

19. Gremlins - really well designed and made

20. Razorback - Australia's scariest monster/ creature yet.
