Message Written in Lipsick or Blood on Mirror

I saw a horror film when I was a kid in the late 70's or early 80's about a girl that gets dropped off at home by her friend's parents after staying over at their house, only to discover blood all over the place and her Mum or older sister (a model?) murdered and a message written in lipstick or blood on the mirror.

Any ideas?
