Monster in Pot on Stove and One in Cellar

I'm trying to remember the name of a 70's or 80's monster / zombie film.
In one scene, a woman is cooking on the kitchen stove. She lifts the lid on the pot to check on the food, and a blob-type monster pops up and makes a crazy noise. I think she starts screaming.
In another scene, there's an octopus-type monster in the cellar.
There are also zombies in the film.
Please help!
