Moon-Faced Man Below Cemetery

I caught the tail end of an enjoyably bad 70's or 80's horror movie and am trying to find what it was named.

In the end, the hero (some guy in a black leather jacket) has to go underground in a cemetery where there's a kind of underworld to save some girl. He does this by opening the door to an above-ground crypt which has a staircase to the underworld. Down there, there is a character with a crescent-moon-shaped face who helps him.
