Most Enjoyable and Scary Horror Movies

1. The Thing (1982). Totally re-watchable, creepy, great atmosphere. Great hero and even greater villain.

2. The Omen (1976). Scary, cleaver, creepy mood, great acting.

3. Dawn of the Dead (1976). What can I say? Great fun, great story we all wish we could experience.

4. The Exorcist (1973). Classic and creepy atmosphere.

5. Army of Darkness (1992). Funniest movie on the list, amazing lines.

6. Demon Knight (1995). Great villain, rewatchable time and time again.

7. Sweeney Todd (2007). Brilliant Depp/Burton coming together for their masterpiece. Sondheim is fantastic with the music.

8. From Dusk Til Dawn (1996). Fun ride, funny lines, great performance by Clooney.

9. Shaun of the Dead (2004). Hilarious and scary at the same time.

10. Slither (2006). Fun, funny, great lines.

11. Ghost Ship (2002). Not scary, but a lot of fun.

12. The Frighteners (1996). Michael J. Fox's greatest role, great ideas, great performances, and funny.

12. Rosemary's Baby (1968). Classic creepy movie.

13. Halloween (1978). Would be higher on the list, but the sequels ruined it. Was he the boogeyman or not?
