Movie Outpost, Are They Zombies?

Zombie Master,

I wanted to ask you about the movie 'Outpost'. A few of my friends say that it is a Z-movie. I disagree. They have a lot of features that don't count as zombies... Like the whole trapped in time thingy and disappearing/appearing. Not very zombie-like.

I'd like your opinion on the subject though.

I want to begin by apologizing for the delay in answering your question. I have a thing about answering a question related to a movie that I have not seen so I went out and got a copy. You call it "obsessive", I call it "compulsive", either way it leads to good times for all.

Now I would like to thank you for turning me on to "Outpost". Although it did start out slow, it ended fairly decently.

To answer your question though, I am afraid to say that your friends are correct. They are zombies. They are not typical zombies though, oh no, they are a special breed of zombie that is probably the most feared class of zombie because they are so danged unpredictable. I am talking of course about the "Nazi Zombie". Nazi zombies are usually formed by the use of occult sciences which the Nazis were big into.

To learn more about these outcasts of the zombie world I would suggest film research starting with Zombie Lake, Oasis of the Zombies, and Shock Waves.
