Mummy With Red Glowing Eyes and Diamond in Belly Button

Since I was a youngster, this 70's or 80's Mummy movie has been evading me and to this day I've not been able to find it. Help!

It was late at night and my family was in the living room watching this horror movie about a Mummy. I watched the first part of it and then got sent to bed where I tried to keep watching it through the crack of the door frame, before my tattle tale sister ruined that plan.

The movie starts with a university professor who finds a Mummy while excavating, and brings it to a museum (I think in New York or somewhere the UK). They place the mummy in a glass box along with his belongings from the tomb. His belongings consist of ten diamonds, plus the one he has in his belly button.

The Mummy lays dormant until two burglars decide to break into the museum through a window, break the Mummy's casting and steal the diamonds. Once they escape they convert the stolen diamonds into different types of jewelry e.g. rings, necklaces etc., and sell them to unaware punters.

Back at the museum, the Mummy's belly button starts to glow and it rises from the dead to search for the stolen diamonds. As it moves, it doesn't walk, but floats in the air as if it was gliding. It's wrapped like a typical Mummy but looks mucky underneath and has glowing red eyes.

The diamond in the Mummy's belly button works like a beckon and helps it locate the other diamonds one by one. It then snatches the diamonds off the unsuspecting people who have bought the jewelry.

As soon as the Mummy touches any part of the human's body e.g. arm to snatch a diamond bracelet, the person's limb gets gangrene and has to be severed.

I have no idea how the movie ends.

If you know what this is, help! Thanks!
