My Favorite Horror Movies

I am fairly new to the genre but here is a list of movies I have seen and enjoyed so far. This is my opinion - if you disagree make your own list.

Sci-Fi:
Aliens (1986) - My first horror movie
Alien (1979) - In my opinion better than Aliens
Alien 3 (1992) - Not quite as good as the first two, but still amazing
Them (1954)- My first black and white horror movie
The Thing (1982) - John Carpenter's best
28 Days Later (2003) - The scariest Zombie(ish) movie I've ever scene

Ghosts:
Death Tunnel (2005) - I know that most people don't like this one but I thought it was pretty good
The Ring (2002) - Noah's death scarred me to death I won't be watching unmarked tapes anytime soon
The Grudge (2004) - Scarred me worse than any movie I've ever seen
Stay Alive (2006) - The most underrated horror film 2000-2010 in my novice opinion
Monster (2003)
Jeepers Creepers. (2001) - The truck scene was amazing
Jeepers Creepers 2 (2003) - The farm scene was better than the rest of the movie but the movie was good
The Descent (2005) - Is anybody out there?

Slashers:
Halloween (1978) - original, not Rob Zombie remake
Halloween 4 (1988) - The final scene
A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) - 1,2 Fredies coming for you. Nothing else to say.
Urban Legends (2000) - This was one of my first horror movies
Wrong Turn (2003) - cannibals + wrecked car = one of my all time favorites

Vampires:
30 Days of Night (2007) - My first vampire movie
Dracula (1992) - Amazing

Zombies:
Return of the Living Dead (1985) - Funnier than it was scary but great all the same
Night of the Living Dead (1968) - Zombies at there greatest
Evil Dead II - Not really a zombie film but great

Stephen King
It (1990) - Stupid Georgie
Pet Sematary (1989) - Creepy and disturbing until the end
The Mist (2007) - Monsters in the mist - gotta love Stephen King

Lastly:
Candyman (1992) - I didn't know how to categorize this one
