My Top 5 Classic Horror Films

1. Spider Baby: A classic black and white about a deranged family that age regresses mentally to the point of murder. My first movie with Sid Haig. And who wouldn't like Sid as a psycho murderer with the mentality of a baby?
2. Night of the Living Dead: This was my first introduction to the world of horror. People eating people, children eating parents - what could be better? Though we never see actual blood, it is gore-filled.
3. The Exorcist: This classic has everything. There really is no need to comment further on this masterpiece.
4. Jaws: Although this movie may not be considered a true horror film, it has earned a place in the top 100 horror films for most people. I was fourteen when I saw it, and the head popping out of the bottom of the boat sent me out of my seat.
5. Carrie: Stephen King's novel adapted for the screen. This one evoked fear for the plain reason of maybe one shouldn't engage in humiliating someone in high school. You never know what might happen if you push them too far. And the scene with the pigs - ugh!
This is my list. Some might like them; others might think one or two are bad horror movies. All have a ton of derangement in them though - be it by humans or animals.
