Watch This Outlandish Trailer for Bath Salt Zombies

What’s that old saying? A little exploitation never hurt anyone? No, that’s definitely not it, but hey, we’ll run with that for this particular piece of news.
Dustin Wayde Mills co-wrote (with Clint Weiler) and directed the new uber-low budget zombie flick, Bath Salt Zombies, and it’s tough to wrap the noggin around this one. By all accounts this appears to be little more than a case of sensationalizing a very, very tender subject.
Anyone who has opted to watch the news inside the last few years know that bath salts have become a fatal issue amongst young and old alike. The unorthodox drug has led to murder, suicide and extreme acts of violence. So, why not make a movie about it?
According to Weiler, "the film is somewhat of a black comedy, I wanted to portray the real power of drugs in a horror story... Dustin was able to pull it off with ease." Well, it’s great that Mills has assembled a project that Weiler is happy with, but the real question is: how will the mass market respond to such a savage concept?
According to Mills, this one probably shouldn’t be taken too serious. "It's off the wall comic book insanity with blood, gore, nudity, martial arts, gunfights, and a mutant jack-chi. You should check your brain at the door and prepare to have your face melted off."
Sounds like we’ll be required to check our brains at the door. Have your doubts? Just watch the film’s trailer below!
By the way, the picture is scheduled to see release on DVD come February 19, 2013.
