I'm out of my mind trying to remember the name of this movie where a young hair dresser gets a rosary in the mail from his mom and things start to happen, and she needs help from a young priest to reveal a secret that would destroy the Catholic church.

...the movie Stigmata (1999) except it is a young woman who is the hairdresser and receives the rosary (played by Patricia Arquette) and the young Priest who helps her is Gabriel Byrne.
