Hi Zombie Master,
I'm a huge zombie fan, this site is amazing by the way! Great work. Anyway, this zombie fan is extremely curious why there's really never an explanation to where the disease actually starts. A very select few have a half-assed answer, but the rest just jump right into 'We've got zombies, RUN'.
So, where did the zombie start? In a lab, in a jungle, in a bone yard?
Thanks!

Lisa,
Yes, yes, and yes. I know that doesn't make much sense but it is the truth. Depending on what type of zombie you are talking about they could have been created in all three locations. The original zombies were created by voodoo spells. The Romero zombies had to do with radiation from a returning space probe. O'Bannon zombies are the result of military experiments with Trioxin. Resident Evil zombies are the work of the T-Virus. Raimi zombies are demon induced. The list goes on and on.
I am sorry that I do not have a more definitive answer for you but that is the nature of the beast. For this reason we must remain vigilant in our research so that we can spot them and stop them in their tracks.
Good hunting and aim high,
The Zombie Master
