Parent's Divorce: My Introduction to Horror

The first great horror movie I saw was Night of the Living Dead. My dad had secretly bought the VHS tape for me and told me not to tell my mom. I watched it, and from then on I was addicted to horror.

When my parents divorced two years later, I would go to visit my dad and we would rent horror movies he he had watched in the 80's. I was introduced to Fright Night, The Lost Boys and The Blob (1988).

The movies were a psychological release and to this day at 16 years old, I still love them.
