Peeping Stalker Has Secret Chamber in House

We're trying to find out the name of an 80's or early 90's horror film involving a woman whose apartment has a window with a stained glass eye, or all-seeing eye that she's afraid of.

She believes something supernatural is going on, but it turns out to be a stalker that has been living secretly with her, in his own chamber behind the wall. He has mid-length hair and may be her ex-lover.
