People Trapped in Haunted House, Guy Saws Through Hand

What is the movie about a bunch of strangers that get trapped in a haunted mansion and try desparately to escape?

At one stage, they try to saw the door open with an electric saw and the guy operating it ends up cutting into his own hand.

One by one, they're picked off until only three are left. One guy manages to slip through a window and runs away in the rain, deliriously happy. He runs into a gargoyle statue in the middle of a little garden and stops to offer thanks, but instead he sinks down into the mud.

Finally, the remaining two drop into an underground room illuminated brightly with light and face some boss-type character who they defeat, and are freed.
