People Who Turn to Zombies or Vampires Wear White Contact Lenses

Sometime between 1968 and 1976, I saw a movie where almost all of the cast wears white contact lenses when they turn into vampires or zombies.
I guess it stuck in my head because I was traumatized in a bad dream or two of these white eyed converts. Any ideas? Ken
