Rat-Like Boy Branded Wtih the Sign of the Cross

Which 80's horror spoof features a boy that's been made into a vampire or werewolf, and has been branded on the forehead with the sign of the cross?
He has to follow his friend around by staying underground and using tunnels. He's quite a funny character as I recall, and I would like to see the film again.
