Round Monsters With Metal Teeth Eat the Planet

About 15 years ago I can remember a horror movie but don't know the name of that movie.

In this film there's about 6 to 8 people, this is somewhere in the beginning or middle of the movie, who go on a plane and most them fall asleep except one. Then the plane goes through some weird cut in the sky or worm hole and they land somewhere where there are no people other than those from the plane. Then some creatures with no eyes and huge mouths with spinning sharp metal teeth start eating up the planet.

The people are now trying to figure out how they got there and how to get back while the monsters are eating the planet up.

they get back on the plane and take off just as the monster with metal teeth eats the runway and the planet is gone, and they go back through the crack in space. The man character sacrifices himself to get back to normal time.

That is all I can remember. If you can remember this movie then you really are the best horror archive ever!

Thanks!

The Langoliers

When a plane passes through a mysterious time warp, all but a few onboard vanish. The survivors manage to land, and discover that time seems to stand still--and the mysterious Langoliers are in hot pursuit. The Langoliers' job is to erase moments in time that have already passed into history. The survivors still exist because they were asleep when the plane passed through the warp, and they determine that if they can all be asleep once again when the plane returns, they will survive. However, one passenger must remain awake - and doomed to die - to pilot the plane on its return through the warp.

It's the made-for-TV movie The Langoliers (1995) which is based on the Stephen King book.
