Scaly Creature in Well Devours Boy

Okay, so I never actually got to see this movie. I was only told about by a fellow horror fanatic many, many years ago. I can just vaguely recall the plot.

Apparently, a family moves into a new house with an odd well in the basement/or outside. After they become situated, the father notices odd, wet tracks circling around the crib of their newborn child. This reoccurs daily and eventually the father grows apprehensive. Now is supposedly when the killings begin.

Their oldest boy is pulled into the well by the creature and devoured, leaving the father to wage a one-sided war against the monstrosity (as apparently it only wants the baby).

The creature is a wolf mixed with a crocodile or some scaly monster.

Any ideas?
