Scary Movie from Late 80s Fueled My Fear of Clowns

Hi, I dont know how to exactly ask this question but here I go...

When I was little, I'm thinking not even 10 yrs old, I saw this movie at the theater. It must have been the late 80's and I can't remember the title of the movie. I'm pretty sure this film is the reason why I'm terrified of CLOWNS, PUPPETS, ETC...

The film starts with a big mansion and a storm and then a lady makes some kind of spell and then one of those toy monkeys with the things on his hands starts playing.

In another scene there's a puppet/jester that keeps creeping out on people on the ceiling of an elevator.

VERY IMPORTANT In one scene there's a person laying in a bath tub and that same puppet/jester appears and the person in the tub starts like popping "eggs".

I don't have much more info and hopefully somebody can help me know the tittle of the movie I think if I see it again it may me help with my Coulrophobia.
