Serial Killer Takes Woman Out of Tub and Ties Her Up

I'm trying to find an 80's horror movie I saw when I was young about a serial killer.

Toward the end, a woman is taking a bath and as she finishes he attacks her from behind while she is still in the bathtub. He doesn't kill her, he just takes her out of the bathtub and ties her up. After that the time switches to morning and someone arrives at the victim's house to investigate. I think the killer and victim are still in there and alive.

This is making my brain itch. I searched on this forum under a combination of 'bath', 'bathtub', 'killer', 'abduct' and other terms but with no luck. I also searched IMDB and couldn't find anything either.

Oh, and I already bought The Toolbox Murders and Maniac and neither were it.
