Snake Creature Kills Woman in Shower

I make creature effects, and I'm looking for a nightmare from my childhood for some inspiration, laughs, and b-movie enjoyment in general. These creatures were awesome, at least at the time!

Movie would be circa 1985-1995 and takes place on a ship or some kind of 'clean' atmosphere similar to. Everything is very white, or at least bright looking for what seems like extended periods of time. Characters wear similar white suits (maybe the same suit?) and are possibly part of a government agency.

Specifically I remember creatures; aliens I think, almost serpent-like, long and slender, dark colored, very smooth and slick-looking...The heads are very spear shaped. Creatures were animatronic or puppets, not CG, I'm pretty sure.

In one scene one of the aliens attacks a woman in the shower, very quick scene. My dad kept covering my eyes, so I guess she is visibly nude?

Another scene, there is some type of medical experiment or lab setting. One of the alien creatures is seen squirming inside of water filled glass that it snuck into. Maybe a water pipe line or some kind of medical device or beaker? I think the liquid was bubbling or steaming or some kind of action? The creature definitely wasn't supposed to be in there!

If anyone has any clues or leads, that would be AWESOME!
