Suspended in Time

I can't remember much about this movie I saw as a child in the 70's, in fact the movie might of been from the 60's.

I seem to remember a man and woman that were running up and down the street and everyone else was stopped in time. The man and woman were trying to get the frozen people to speak to them.

I'm thinking it was in color, but I'm not sure.

Thank You!

If it was in b&w, I'd think it was this episode:
by: MystMoonstruck

The Outer Limits (1963-65 TV anthology series)
starring Dewey Martin, Mary Murphy, Emma Tyson
IMDb synopsis:
When a test pilot crashes in his experimental X-15 plane, he and his wife discover they are in a reality where time has slowed down almost to a standstill. Returning to the airbase, they are horrified to see their daughter standing in the path of a moving truck and they seem to be unable to prevent her death.
NOTE: This was the next-to-last episode of the sadly short-lived series.

You can watch it at IMDb by clicking on the icon next to the description in the episode guide:

Curious to know this one too
by: Vickie

It was a black and white movie. A man and woman are running up and down the street. At first everything is just suspended. Then they realize that everything around them is just moving extremely slowly. A little girl is in front of a truck, and the truck is getting closer to her. The woman begins to panic that the truck will run her over.

I believe this was longer than an episode of Twilight Zone, I remember it being a good movie, suspenseful for sure!

I too...
by: Ian

... have seen an episode of 'The Twilight Zone which was similar to that. However, it only featured one male character who wasn't frozen in time, and no woman companion. Did you see this on a movie screen or on television?

Not sure...

There's "The Girl, the Gold Watch and Everything," a tv movie from 1980.

Or maybe an episode of something like "Twilight Zone" or "Outer Limits." "Night Gallery" if it was definitely in color.
