What's the name of the movie where teenagers start acting weird?

I remember a girl comes over to this boy's house (he's the main character and she's a cheerleader). She asks to go to the bathroom and after looking in the mirror for a while she smashes her face into it. She ends up needing sugery to remove the glass pieces.

In the end, there's a boom box playing.
