Tentacled Creature Eating Through Wind Shield

I remember watching a movie during the 80's but I never finished it. The scene as I remember involved a group of teens camping in the woods and something/someone hunted them down with peculiar creatures looking somewhat like flattened octopi, with teeth (centered in their body) and even short tentacles.

One scene involved one of these creatures being slung at a car windshield as the people inside looked at it trying to bite it's way through. Later in the movie a body of one of the friends is found in a wood tool shed with his eye seemingly eaten or gouged out.

I have been trying to find any information concerning this movie for years, and any help would be appreciated. :)
